Åland Islands
Baltic Archipelago
Journey to Åland, fishing and accommodation at Finno Stugby base
About the tour
Åland Islands are located in the center of the Baltic Sea and are effectively a natural reserve in the middle of urbanized Europe. Due to the low salinity of the Baltic, both freshwater and marine fish species live here.
The tour includes accommodation at the Finno Stugby base as well as boat rentals — both for self-navigation and with professional guide services. The base operates year-round.

Main trophy: Baltic pike
Powerful predator of the Baltic
Pike is the key target species on the archipelago. The active fishing season lasts from April to mid-November.
Zander and perch are also consistently caught using boats equipped with modern electronics.
Fishing follows a comfortable rhythm: morning departures, tactical pauses, repositioning, and working different structures. Even in windy weather, the archipelago offers many protected fishing areas.
This destination suits both experienced anglers and those who want to target serious trophy pike for the first time.
