About the tour
The working format in the Maldives is a combination of an island resort and a specialized fishing boat. An important detail of the region: not every hotel allows external vessels, and standard hotel boats are usually designed more for excursions than for sport fishing. Therefore, choosing the right base and boat here is the key to success.
The techniques are very familiar for the Indian Ocean: popping, jigging, and offshore fishing. But the Maldives also has its signature scenario — fishing around ocean buoys. Open water, great depths, and a high concentration of pelagic fish. The main targets are yellowfin tuna, bonito, skipjack, and mahi-mahi. The fishing is dynamic and extremely exciting.
Reefs are a separate story. Groupers, snappers, and the two main prizes of heavy tackle fishing — GT and coral trout. A format where every strike is an instant test of both gear and the angler’s reaction.

Tour itinerary by day
Day 1 – Arrival & Transfer to Island
Arrival in Malé (capital), airport meet & greet, and transfer to a domestic flight.
Flight to the island where the resort is located and check-in.
Days 2–6 – Guided Fishing
4 or 6 full days of fishing (depending on package).
Up to 4 anglers per boat.
Daily schedule: departure at 6:00 AM, ~8 hours of fishing.
This format allows plenty of time for relaxation and social activities after fishing.
Day 7 – Departure
Morning departure from the island (~9:00 AM), arrival in Malé (~10:30 AM), followed by your international flight.

Accommodation
Accommodation is provided at a 5★ hotel located in the Gaafu Atoll in the southern Maldives.
The resort offers a high level of comfort, premium service, and full resort infrastructure typical for luxury island stays.
Boats
Fishing is conducted from modern fiberglass boats, specifically equipped for sport fishing rather than leisure cruising.
Twin-engine setup: 2 × 250 HP
Designed for multiple fishing techniques (popping, jigging, drifting, reef fishing)
Operated independently from the hotel (third-party fishing boats, subject to hotel approval)
This setup ensures access to proper offshore fishing conditions, including pelagic fishing around buoys and reef structures.

Day 1
Arrival in Manaus, meeting and accommodation at the hotel. Morning flight to the base, check-in, and the first fishing trip on the day of arrival.
Days 2–6
Six full days of fishing. Departure at 6:00 AM, afternoon break for lunch and rest, then evening session. Two people per boat with a guide.
Day 7
Morning departure from the base, return to Manaus, and international flight.

Boats
The boats are equipped with 30-horsepower motors and are serviced by experienced guides. The format is two anglers per boat.
Accommodation
The floating caravan consists of four cabins, each accommodating two people.
Each cabin has a shower, toilet, and air conditioning. A separate cabin is equipped as a dining room.
The base has stable internet access and laundry facilities.

Fishing is centered around deep-water buoys anchored in the open ocean above depths reaching up to 2,000 meters. These structures attract large concentrations of yellowfin tuna.
